Alongside AI (“Alongside,” “we,” “us”) provides screen-aware AI guidance for employee onboarding. This policy describes how we handle personal information when you visit our website, join the waitlist, or use our product during beta.
Information we collect
- Waitlist & contact: name, work email, company, and team size when you submit our form or email us.
- Product use: account details, tutorial progress, session metadata, chat transcripts, and screen-share frames processed to deliver live guidance during a session.
- Technical data: device/browser type, IP address, and usage logs for security and reliability.
How we use information
We use data to operate and improve Alongside, respond to requests, run live demo and onboarding sessions, communicate about early access, and keep our service secure.
Screen sharing & AI processing
When you start a session, you choose what to share (full screen or a window). Shared content and audio are sent to our AI providers to generate real-time guidance. Do not share sensitive personal data you would not want processed for that purpose.
Sharing
We use infrastructure and AI subprocessors to run the service. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law. You may request deletion of waitlist or account data by contacting us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information. Contact us to exercise these rights.
International users
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we process personal data on lawful bases including consent, contract, and legitimate interests. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
